To the Analysis of the Main Provisions of Regulatory Documents for the Prevention of Progressive Collapse of Building Structures (part 1)
Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture
Abstract. The article analyzes the main regulatory documents in force in the post-Soviet space of the CIS countries, the countries of the European Union, the USA, Great Britain, within which design procedures are considered aimed at preventing the development of progressive collapse. Different approaches are compared and analyzed in the formulation of the considered design situations, constructive solutions, to the bearing capacity criteria, parameters of buildings and structures, which are subject to the requirements for the development of measures that exclude the development of progressive collapse. A critical assessment of constructive techniques aimed at preventing the development of progressive collapse in the frame structures of multi-storey buildings, regulated by regulatory documents, has been carried out. In addition to this, an analysis of the main scientific studies aimed both at preventing the development of an avalanche collapse and at solving related problems (increasing survivability, reducing the probability of failure, etc.) was carried out. On the basis of the analysis carried out, actual tasks are formulated, on which researchers working in this direction should focus their attention.
Keywords: progressive collapse, buildings and structures, regulatory documents.

Designing the Connection of Thin-Walled Elements Using Tubular Bolts
Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture Samara State Technical University
Abstract. One of the main tasks of construction in modern Russia is to reduce its cost and increase efficiency. New economic conditions predetermine the peculiarities of the approach to the choice of efficient technologies, products and structures. Speaking about the rational use of metal, all production and technical areas can be divided into various types of activities, one of which is the direction of introducing economical and efficient types of compounds, the use of which ensures metal savings. The paper presents a study of bolts of a tubular structure developed in the study of thin-walled rod connections. Also, a comparison of the metal consumption of connections of thin-walled elements using tubular bolts and bolts of strength class 5.6 of accuracy class B, commonly used for connecting steel structures, is given. The relevance of this topic is due to a decrease in metal consumption, an increase in the efficiency of the structure.
Keywords: thin-walled elements, bolts, hardware, tubular bolt, effective compounds, work of bolts on a cut, calculation of connected elements for crushing, shear bolted connections, reduction of metal consumption, efficient connection.

Conducting Non-Destructive Quality Control of Materials in the Extreme Economy of Donbass
Donetsk National Technical University
Abstract. To carry out non-destructive quality control of materials used at hazardous production facilities and obtain reliable results of control, a material and technical base that meets modern requirements is required. In the conditions of the extreme economy of Donbass, such a material and technical base can be formed on its own, based on the available technical and production capabilities. Technopark «University Technologies» with the participation of the Donetsk National Technical University has certain achievements in this matter. Self-manufacturing of the necessary auxiliary tools and devices, flaw detection materials is an important element not only of the flaw detector profession, but also of educational and scientific activities aimed at training qualified non-destructive testing specialists. Such projects contribute to the expansion of technical horizons, the acquisition of new competencies and advanced training. The article briefly talks about the projects of recent years, which have become a symbiosis of the above three paradigms. The research concerned such methods of non-destructive testing as visual and measuring, radiographic, ultrasonic, vibration diagnostics, thermal, magnetic particle and optical.
Keywords: non-destructive testing, visual and measurement testing, radiographic testing, ultrasonic testing, vibrodiagnostic testing, thermal testing, magnetic particle testing, optical testing.

Experimental Studies of the Anchor Support U220+9 with Imperfections under the Action of Static Loads
Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture
Abstract. The article presents experimental studies of the anchor-angular support U220+9 with imperfections at the DNAСЕА landfill. To compare the VAT indicators of the support elements, two load tests of the support were carried out according to similar schemes. During the first test, the support was loaded without imperfections. During the second load test, the situation of the formation of a general curvature of the lattice elements from the plane of the support face was simulated. Tests with imperfections were carried out in two stages. Using strain-gauge studies at the first stage, the behavior of individual elements and support units during the formation of a defect in the form of a general curvature of the rod from the plane of the structure was determined. At the second stage, the response of the investigated structure to the defective rod is analyzed. Experimental tests made it possible to determine the response of the studied structure to rods with extreme deformation, the operational suitability of the structure as a whole when working with imperfections.
Keywords: anchor-angular support, polygon, experimental studies, static tests, curvature, work of structures with imperfections, strain gauge studies.
