Method of calculation and designing a spatial rod shell, taking into account operational reliability of the protecting designs made of polycarbonate plastics

Abstract. During the exploitation of wide-span structures, such as trailing shells with a big aperture above the stadiums’ trubunes, there arise significant travels of separate units, that may cause damage and distruction of transperent protecting constructions made of polycarbonate plastics. The methods of calculation and designing a wide-span trailing shell with an aperture on the eliptic plan, taking into account an operational reliability of protecting onstructions made of polycarbonate plastics are offered.

Definition of a residual load-carrying capacity and reliability of metal beam

Abstract. In the article the new technique of definition of residual bearing ability of metal structures by loading to their constant on value and a place of the appendix by safe test loading is offered. Examples on revealing reserves of bearing ability metal designs are resulted, the technique of definition of reliability of metal designs also on the basis of the theory of opportunities for those cases when application of probability methods becomes incorrect is offered.

Numerically-Analytical Method of the Statistical Estimation of the Wind Gust Features

Abstract. In this article statistical estimation algorithm of wind gust local characteristics in internal atmospheric boundary layer (the amplitudes, duration, maximum) is presented. It is taken into account a non-stationary nature of wind flow and broad-banding of turbulent pulsation. Using of the offered method is illustrated on the example of the experimental data of statistical treating.

Fisical deterioration and falures of head frames metal structures

Abstract. The article shows the results of analysis of the inspection results of fifty seven brace head frames with numerous structural and technological features. The main types of aggressive influences are determined. The typical operational damages are fixed. The zoning of brace head frame structures using principles of similarity and intensity of aggressive influences are determined. The main steps of depreciation and types of failure technical state are ascertained. The results of the study are the basis for perfection of the structural form and principles of technical state estimation of brace head frames structures.

Some problems and perspectives of Ukrainian tank building

Abstract. It is shown, that technology of rolling-up method, which is used for manufacture tanks with capacity for 5000 m3 inclusive, provides accessed in the world practice reliability level. However geometric form of such structures has a lot of typical defects. Removal of these defects demands further perfection in all basic operations of technological processes.

Theoretical and experimental investigations of stress concentration factor for T-joints with H-beams and RHS members

Abstract. The results of stress-strain experimental investigations and stress concentration factors for truss with T-joints with H-beam and RHS members have done in the paper. Also the model of experimental truss, models of loadings and comparison between theoretical and experimental results were provided.

Investigation of stability questions of steel vertical cylindrical tanks
