Opportunity method of definition of reliability of rod designs on model of limiting balance

Abstract. The new method of definition of reliability of metal rod systems is considered on the condition of the limiting balance developed on the basis of the theory of opportunities at the limited information on object’s and influence’s parameters. The special attention is given to use of a Zade’s principle of generalization from the theory of indistinct sets for calculation of reliability at nonlinear models of limiting balance.

Standability of rods from hardening materials and normative calculations

Abstract. On the base of rigorous analysis of equilibrium paths of compressed elastic-plastic bars under central and eccentric compression the influence of hardening on limit loads is studied for modern materials whose stress-strain diagram has no explicit yielding plateau. It is shown that a certain “threshold” value of the hardening parameter exists below which the limit loads do not practically depend upon hardening. In this range the existing design codes provide a rather good prediction of limit loads. However for modern materials with hardening, which exceeds the threshold value, the existing design codes are not able to predict limit loads in the whole range of slenderness ratio.

Methods of continuation on the best parameter in material nonlinear section model of a steel rod

Abstract. In the articles the material nonlinear mathematical model of any cross section of a steel rod at complex resistance (stretching-compression, a bend and free torsion), describing the stress-strain state is considered. Solution methods of the nonlinear equations of mathematical cross section model are resulted. Numerical methods investigate efficiency of continuation methods on the best parameter in mathematical model at presence of limiting points of solution curve.

Experimental research of the suspended trusses block at action of non-equilibrium loadings

Abstract. A significant moving of separate units, that can cause demage and even destruction of light light-transparent protecting constructions made of polycarbonate plastics arises at work of bearing wide-span constructions, such as suspended shell with a big aperture above stadiums’ tribunes. Experimental research of a suspended trusses block which is a part of a spatial road shell with an aperture on the elliptic plan at non-equilibrium loadings is presented in the given article.

Perfecting of a technique of calculation of headframes on operating of the special loads from a crash stop of a raising vessel

Abstract. In the article the technique and outcomes of mathematical modelling of the special loads of designs of headframes from a crash stop of a raising vessel is adduced. The ground of analysis of prior sources and data of numerical experiments three groups of the factors influencing on parameters of the special loads are established: the stochastic factors of conditions of a distress; the determined factors of characteristics of a winder and factors of response curves of designs of headframes. On the base of the analysis and generalization of outcomes, numerical and natural experiments of the principles of definition of design values of the special loads depending on characteristics of winding plants and dynamic properties of designs of headframes are established.

Analysis of spatial correlation of icing loads for NEC “Ukrenergo” weather-stations arrangement on Ukrainian territory

Abstract. The article is devoted to the questions of a spatial correlation of climatic loads, including icing combinations with the wind. This analysis allows to estimate random overloads in the data of weather stations under territory zoning and scale of extreme overloads which may lead to failures of overhead of transmission lines. The results of carried out analysis were used for NEC “Ukrenergo” weather-stations arrangement on the Ukrainian territory.
