Strained state simulation of cylindrical billet of roofing mounting hardware at internal thread extrusion

Abstract. The paper deals with the problem of manufacturing of fastening elements used at copper roofing erection. The manufacture of electroplating compatible fastening elements enables to extend the service life of not only fastening elements but the product itself. The basic methods of the manufacturing of fastening elements with thread profile used not only in civil engineering but also in the automotive industry and roadbuilding machines production have been presented in the paper. The advantages and disadvantages of the given methods have been considered and their brief features have been also given. The process of unilateral extrusion of non-ferrous metal billets has been considered and the form process affect of a thread cutting tool on a billet has been shown. The analysis of strained state of a billet of the roofing mounting hardware during extrusion at asymmetric strain has been undergone. The task solution has been performed in the cylindrical coordinate system. During the analysis, the billet has been conventionally divided into the thread and ring regions in which axial and radial metal flow rate, material deformation rate and strain rate intensity have been determined. The equations of the range and tangent rates of deformation have been obtained. The parameters dependences of the state of strain of the billet in the ring and thread regions have been presented. The conclusions enable to determine the basic statements of the engineering approach to the analysis of the state of strain of metal cylindrical billet at manufacturing fastening elements for roofing erection have been presented in the paper.

Frequency responses and natural undamped vibrations of light-weight metal guyed masts

Abstract. The paper deals with the problems of dynamic behaviour of light-weight metal guyed masts. The design of the dynamic technique of the cellular telephone net two-level trihedral guyed mast implemented with a computer has been considered in the paper. The model of the structure has been presented in the form of a vertical cantilever with two elastic supports and lumped mass on the second support. The design technique base is the solution of differential equation of vibration of the systems with distributed parameters. As a result, the guyed mast frequency characteristics have been determined and the analysis of the relative masses of antenna parameters impact on the structure frequency characteristics has been carried out. The natural continuous oscillations of the light metal guyed mast being brought about by the pulsation wind load expressed in form of the sudden load elimination of regular intensity corresponding to the limit deviation of the mast have been considered. The charts of the bending moment variation in different sections of the mast column for the period of the first tone vibrations have been revealed. The effect of the dynamic loads on the stressed and deformed state of the guyed mast column has been estimated. As the result of the received data, recommendations for the equipment placement on the cellular telephone net supports have been provided.

Comparative analysis of cost and pipeline laying for external water supply networks

Abstract. The economic analysis of the current prices for the laying of pipes for external water supply networks depending on the material they made of has been undergone. The polynomials for the main pipes used for laying or replacement in the external water supply networks and the optimum price performance, in which the pipes made of different materials are the most economical have been made up. To construct the mathematical dependencies, capital costs for laying a plastic pipe diameter and type of soil have been determined by a specific list of works at which the pipes have to lay and the polyethylene pipes have been separated in dependence of the minimum long-term durability. The given technique can be used in calculation of cost estimates developed for laying plastic pipes in different kind of soils. The findings of the investigations can be used for analysis and the design techniques of optimum diameter of pipes at joint solution of problems in hydraulics and economics for laying polyethylene pipelines.

Analysis features of internal combustion engine with large relative bias of crank mechanism

Abstract. In the field of development and improvement of motor-car engines, the primary tasks are the increase of fuel profitability, which can be reached by the increase of operation period efficiency of the cycle, reduction of the specific mass of the engines, the cost of their production, etc. The toxic products of engines effluent into the air control is at the principally new level as well as the problems of noise reduction and vibration in the operational process. In the result of theoretical analyses founded on the analytical dependency of kinematics and balancing of crank mechanism with large offset of the equations of the thermodynamic processes of the cycle and regularities of the combustion process, the given paper has shown the correlation of the analysis considering the effect of the offset on the indicator indices and the inertial force balance in such kind of the engine.

Abstract. The article deals with the transport infrastructure of Ukraine as an important factor of spatial integration into the European Union. It is connected with the Europe of common natural components (it is an integral part of European ecological network), of cultural traditions (in particular by territories of ethnic groups), of historical factors, economic resources. With its integration potential, the territory of Ukraine causes large interest among foreign tourists. It is also an important economic partner for some European countries. In the process of integration, a transport infrastructure is a unifying factor, in particular, international transport corridors improving the communication accessibility, causing greater interest to our state.Ukraine lies at the intersection of important communication ways uniting the East with the West and the North with the South. Thus, the article has shown the integration potential of Ukraine for various modes of transport.

Calculation of geometrical parameters for spatial form projecting curvilinear surfaces

Abstract. The article describes the calculation of geometrical parameters in the construction of coatings in the form of curvilinear surfaces. Established structural requirements, included production and geometric factors and indicators that affecting the construction of decking. Considered one possible solution unified shield decking with incorporation accuracy of the approximation depends on the width of decking shield. Elaborated the classification scheme of structural members including decking geometric aspects of structural requirements, which which gives the opportunity to choose one of the options for a constructive solution.Resolving issues associated with the design of individual elements, makes it possible to detect the amount of tasks, requiring solution the automated design of shield decking.In the scientific work first variant of the bearing element in the form of farm with variable geometry, dialed with a single modules.
