Influence of Design Features of Power Lines to the Technology of their Construction

Abstract. General information of the extent of backbone and interstate overhead power lines has been given. The classification of pylons has been presented. The advantages and disadvantages of the materials used for the supports have been considered. Most attention is paid to metal power transmission line towers. Main structural elements of power transmission line towers, methods of connecting rods at the nodes have been described. The requirements for the protection of metal elements are power lines from corrosion. Grouping of factors influencing on technological solutions of power lines has been carried out. Considering The factors of influence has been considered under the realization of project decisions; it has been taken into account optimal decisions, which allow to apply the best technological solutions with the least amount of labor and time. The sequence of construction of transmission lines includes a list of processes and a list of interconnections between processes.

Modeling of Real Loading Diagrams of Wind Pressure on Cylindrical Tank using SCAD Software

Abstract. The loading diagram of wind pressure on cylindrical wall of the tank has a difficult form that change in a plan and in height. Account of this type of load in analytical calculations is extremely difficult, in calculating with finite element method using software packages possibility of setting the wind load is determined by the functionality of the program. In this regard, both in domestic and European normative documents is offered method of setting a simplified loading diagram of wind pressure. However, when designing high degree of responsibility buildings, such as reservoirs, there is a necessity to account the real form of wind pressure. In real terms designer may be limited in the choice of the settlement program, in this article discusses the methodology of setting the real loading diagram of wind pressure on cylindrical wall of steel tank using SCAD software.

Constructive Solutions of the Joint Connection of Space Structural for Industrial Buildings

Abstract. The article presents analysis of existing technical solutions joints of space structures of coverings. The experience of domestic and foreign researchers in application of such structures to cover industrial buildings has been summarized and analyzed. The solution of dismountable one bolted joint connection of space structures of coverings has been given based on conducted researches. The proposed connection does not require expensive technology in manufacturing, and may be manufactured in a metal structures factory. Thus, the proposed joint connection allows simplifying assembly, reducing material consumption and improving the reliability of the joint connection.

Analysis of Typical Design Solutions of Conveyor Galleries

Abstract. The types of existent constructions of conveyer galleries have been systematized in the article, classification over of conveyer galleries has been given. Structural forms and elements of entablatures and flight galleries, and also the building materials used for erection of conveyer galleries of industrial enterprises of the different setting, have been described and structured. A structural form of object is one of determinatives at the choice of method of editing. The account of individual features of structural type of conveyer gallery at the choice of method of editing in the straitened terms of operating enterprise allows to accept a reasonably-rational decision, shortening to possible a minimum of expense of labour and material resources.
