Qualitative Parameters of Guyed Chimney Interaction with Anchor Foundations

Abstract. The effect of ground deformation of anchor foundation on stresses and strains in steelworks is dealt with in the paper including guyed steel chimney. The horizontal deformations of ground are modeled by inducing differential movements of a separate foundation in horizontal planes. The guy reactions and bending moments in a chimney shell due to movement are calculated. The most widespread types of chimney of 75 and 100 m high with guys at one or two levels having the horizontal angle of 120° are adopted as the object for research. The calculation model of the structure is a 3D system. The qualitative parameters for the influence of differential soil deformations on guy reactions and internal forces into the chimneys are obtained and analyzed. It demonstrated that there is a linear relation between translations and forces for displacements up to 0.1 m. On the basis of numerical data received the model are proposed and the limit values of displacements are obtained.

Accounting of Constructive Features Nodes Compound Based Stable Central Compressed Rods Structural Coverage

Abstract. In the article the results of research of influence of constructive decisions of nodal connections of structural designs on the critical forces and form of buckling failure by center-compression element of covering have been given. Researches have been carried out by the static method for the item great flexibility (λ = 224) for the loss of stability in the elastic stage of the work materials in the finite element formulation with the task of initial imperfections in the form of half-wave sine wave, which is characteristic of the classical solution of the Euler problem. Conclusions on the impact of the actual design solutions of nodal connections on the critical forces and buckling shapes have been made on the basis of comparative analysis of the calculation results idealized core model and finite element model of the tubular rod with the nodal solutions specific to MArchI system.

Computering Complex of Dimensional Analysis of Beam Metal Structures

Abstract. This article describes and analyzes the functionality of the new computing complex «Dimensional Analysis of beam structures» (CC DABS). The performed verification
CC DABS testifies to the correctness and accuracy of computational procedures. It was done the description of the user’s technology work with various menus and the whole CC DABS. It was given an example of the calculation of accuracy – deviations for determining one-belted hinged-rod cladding metal at different technological sequence assembly. The developed computer program – CC DABS can be used at designing of large-span rod metal structures. The general form of the designed object can be varied: a cylindrical, spherical, elliptical, toroidal, conical and other.

Static Testing of the Node Connection of Space Structural «INEKO»

Abstract. A new one-bolt compounds «INEKO», competitive with using a light coating of metals, have been suggested on the ground of analysis of existing technical solutions of node connections of space structures. Offered connection does not require expensive technology in production and can be made in the settings of plant of metal structures. The structure, having node connection of «INEKO», differs in high fabricability, because it contains only two nominal size: chord and brace element. The article presents the results of numerical and experimental researches of node connection of the new constructive form of structural coverage of the «INEKO». Numerical researches of stress-strain state of gusset plate of brace space structure were made with the use of «SCAD» software. The accepted structural design did not take into account pliability of gussets, chord and brace element. This calculation allowed to define theoretical sustaining capacity of gusset that determines character of work of all structure. Actual stress-strain state of gusset made on models of plate girder collected from elements of the «INEKO». Comparison of numeral and experimental researches allowed to take into account pliability of gussets at the real designing of structural coverage of «INEKO».
