Metal Multifaceted Poles as a Base of the Urban Infrastructures
Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture
Abstract. The article deals with national and the foreign experience of metal multifaceted bent conical poles (tubes) at creation of tower structures directed to a providing of livelihood needs of modern cities. The analytic review of the literature has been given in order to identify problem areas for further study of a stress-strain state (SSS) of examined structural elements and features of their underload work. In the future, the results of studies will improve the constructive form of multifaceted structures, to modify methods of their calculation, and also the method for wind loads determining on them, which defines the main contribution to the stress-strain state. It has been considered in detail the native prospects of a manufacturing and using of metal multifaceted structures in modern construction. The features of the existing methods for calculating of multifaceted poles have been found out. The superficial comparative analysis of the SSS parameters definition, obtained by the discussed methods, has been carried out.

Accounting of Joint Work of Thin-Sheet Membranes with Fastening of the Stabilizer System
Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture
Abstract. The article considers the existing methodology for determining the effective width of the plate when working together and reinforcing stiffener sheet membrane coating, including – the method of reduction ratios. It has been analyzed the applicability of this approach to solving the problems set forth in the works of P. F. Papkovich and Eurocode 3 (Part 1.5), where co-operation of the plate and the reinforcing member, when the lateral loading has been considered as the research object. The results, obtained using analytical methods, are supplemented by the finite element analysis of incorporating the sheet as a sheathing stiffened sheet plate and stiffened shell membrane in the form of a cylindrical surface of zero Gaussian curvature. The results indicate a significant influence on the value of the shell geometry of the inclusion in the joint work sheet cladding with eccentrically-compressed (stretched) reinforcing element.

The Model Tests of Vertical Cylindrical Tanks and a Verification of Numerical Researches
Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture
Abstract. This article discusses the results of model tests for vertical cylindrical tanks of 20 thousand m3. Since the loads were sufficiently studied for structures with an aspect ratio of height to width ratio of less than 0.5 comprised in the group, so a series of tests was carried out in a wind tunnel models with different forms, consisting in the group roof. The article discusses the results of the verification of numerical studies to test a model with a flat roof. The results on the project took place in the group will be presented in the next article.
Keywords: wind tunnel, aerodynamic coefficient, vertical cylindrical tank.

The Method of Determination of Mounting Stress-Strain State-Span Hinge-Rod Metal Coatings
Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture
Abstract. The article made overview previous studies in installation loads and geometrical deviаtions. The article shows the methodology and findings of the mounting stress-strain state-span hinged-rod metal coating by taking into account installation effects caused by deviations during assembly. The calculation is made using the module «Installation» computing complex SCAD 11.5. Assembly deviations, arising during assembly shell, have been obtained and examined by the author of a computer program – Computer Complex «Dimensional analysis of beam structures» (VC RASK). Block diagram of methods for determining the mounting stress-strain state has been given. According to the results of researches, it has been found out the magnitude of installation forces, caused by deviations during assembly of single layer hinged-rod metal shell in the structural system. The measures to reduce the impact of deviations on the mounting stress-strain state, the assembly accuracy have been suggested.
